Established for over thirty five years, we at S.Walsh & Sons have uniquely positioned ourselves as one of the foremost civil engineering and environmental contractors in the South East and London area. Coupled with our expanding refurbishment and structural alteration interests the company has experienced a sustained period of growth.

Great emphasis has been placed on a “hands on” management approach in all areas, which has helped us to secure repeat work with many clients. We have worked with some for over twenty years and these relationships go from strength to strength. Over the past five years we have worked hard on creating partnering arrangements with many of the major contractors in the market, and this has proved very successful. We place significant importance on client communication. This allows us to produce a sound working relationship from day one, which remains the same through to project completion. This has helped us to be prominent on many of the major construction schemes in the South East over recent years, including the Channel Tunnel extensions and the Docklands Light Railway.

As a company our strength is increased by the employment of skilled direct labour and large scale investment in the latest plant and machinery. This has allowed us to have the resources in place to cope with works from £50,000 to £10million. Nowhere better is this investment demonstrated than in our constant growth in soil ashing activities.

Our expansion has seen us opening new sites in Barking, West London and Greenwich, with more planned.
